AMBER Hogan MITCHELL
Dr. Mitchell is the current President and Executive Director of the International Safety Center, a research based non-profit that is widely recognized as the global leader in occupational research and advocate around the world for safer healthcare workplaces. Dr. Mitchell began her career with OSHA sat on a team of dedicated professionals that integrated the Needlestick Safety and Prevention Act into the regulatory landscape. As a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) doctoral scholar, she was able to complete her Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree from the University of Texas School of Public Health. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology from Binghamton University and a Master’s in Public Health from The George Washington University. Dr. Mitchell is Certified in Public Health as an esteemed member of the very first CPH cohort offered by the National Board of Public Health Examiners.
Dr. Mitchell is the 2019 Chair of the American Public Health Association (APHA) Occupational Health and Safety Section.
Dr. Mitchell does not endorse or promote any commercial products, rather she serves in the capacity as an uncompensated advisor on issues related to occupational health and safety related to blood collection.
Mr. Ernst is the current Director of the Center for Phlebotomy Education, a trusted, internationally recognized leader in healthcare dedicated to empowering those who perform, teach, and manage blood collection procedures for clinical testing to do so with professionalism, integrity, precision and compliance. Mr. Ernst has been involved in phlebotomy for over 30 years as a medical technologist, educator, and legal consultant. As the Director of the Center for Phlebotomy Education, he conducts workshops, in-services, and conferences on phlebotomy across the U.S. and around the globe with the goal of protecting healthcare workers and their patients from injury while obtaining high quality specimens for laboratory testing.
Mr. Stephenson currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors at SeaSpine, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPNE). Prior to that he was President of Integra Life Sciences (NASDAQ: IART) U.S. Spine business, where he was responsible for sales, marketing, research and development and other related functions. Mr. Stephenson served as President and CEO of SeaSpine, Inc. from 2002 until it was sold to Integra in May 2011. Mr. Stephenson has over 28 years of experience in the medical device industry with 17 years of experience in the spine market. Prior to cofounding SeaSpine, Inc. in 2002, Mr. Stephenson was Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Alphatec. Mr. Stephenson received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati and an M.B.A. degree from Xavier University.
Mr. Morgan currently serves as the CEO of TotalABA, a software company in Southern California that provides therapists and clinicians with software solutions to help people with autism spectrum disorders. Prior to that Mr. Morgan has served as President and CEO for a number of multinational companies and start-ups; and served on Boards for both foreign and domestic companies and has been part of divestitures and IPO’s valued at almost $2 Billion. Mr. Morgan has received both his bachelors and masters degrees from Villanova University.
